Complete refrigerated vehicles

Nikas SA provides the unique possibility of supplying a complete refrigerated vehicle, offering the option of choosing a van or truck up to 7.5 tons which can be converted. Therefore absolute coordination is achieved during the implementation of the retrofit, saving resources and time.

A full range of refrigeration machines is available:

  • with independent diesel engine
  • with electric motor from the vehicle’s dynamo
  • and battery for purely electric vehicles

After choosing the vehicle, special constructions are carried out which completely cover your needs for transport with controlled temperatures.

Technical Excellence Points:

  • The manufacturing of the panels is done specifically for each type of car with 3-D designs and configuration on CNC machines, while we guarantee the top quality of materials from a European factory, of Italian origin.
  • The insulation material used is closed-cell polyurethane sheets for moisture resistance, without the use of harmful CFC or HCFC blowing gases. It outperforms the extruded polystyrene used by the competition as it has a lower coefficient of thermal conductivity K=0.38 W/m²K compared to K=0.67 W/m²K of extruded polystyrene for the same insulation thickness. In practice, the thermal losses of a space insulated by polyurethane are much smaller.
  • The floor includes an additional layer of marine plywood to support loads and a polyester resin coating to seal and protect against moisture. The finished surface can be chosen smooth, non-slip or aluminum coated.
  • Special polyester pieces cover the perimeter of the door frames to avoid thermal bridges.
  • ATP certification of insulation and chambers is provided, while at the same time a quality guarantee is provided according to ISO
